Chelsea garage

To avoid providing funds to the striking train drivers, I drove into London and booked a parking space in Chelsea.

Never been there before but a lovely place it was and a good price as well, cheaper than a train trip in any case and a lovely selection of cars.

I was in one in Park lane many moons ago, just like that and spotted Sterling Moss parking up 8)

Even though you could park for free in Chelsea anywhere on the road on Sunday, it was worth it to me to pay £14 to be in that garage with next to no chance of damage as nothing moves there. I will use it again.

It is a shame that the entire area is a 20 mph zone as it makes driving really tricky with the electric bikes that the deliveroo lot uses, you cannot overtake them but they go at an irritating speed of about 16 mph which is too slow to stay behind, and every Adison Lee taxi is attached to your bumper.

That was only a tiny proportion of old and new metal in there. Some Rolls Royces from the fifties, Aston Martins, old Mercs. No BMWs though

Oh that is nice. Been in a few places like that over the years. Always seems like a privilege. But I guess we earn such. 8)

Note no picture of my car as I was using the congestion charging elec one :D
