I'm not sure on N20 turbo..you'd get a boost plausibility error IMHO....maybe a sensor going rogue?Air leak check inlet rubber boot to throttle body for splits or holes
In that case its a good BMW indy..these types of faults are usually notoriously difficult so sort out without serios diagnostics..IMHOHonestly I haven’t got a clue when it comes to cars just put the fuel in and take it to get serviced regularly, I had about a 15 mile journey home from work and I didn’t notice any difference to the running of the vehicle, all seems fine
Usually its a sensor or something on the edge..monitor it and see what gives..if you are feeling flush go to a decent bmw indy and they will pull the old error codes and advise...Update I cleared the codes and the light went off and I’ve driven it to work this morning about 15 miles and given it a good blast and it still hasn’t come back on again ??
If you are in the Essex area, join the East Anglian Z4 fb group. Then you may be able to find someone near you who can read the codes without the expense of a dealer.Does anyone have any recommendations as to a decent Indy garage in the Essex area at all please
