Cheapest Tracker fitment

Where can you get the cheapest Tracker fitted, i'm in the north west of England if that makes a difference?!
Also where in the Z4 do they fit it, dont want the dash taking apart?

Reason i ask is that AXA are doing cheap insurance but a Roadster needs a Tracker (Coupe is ok and is £550 with £450 excess), even then £700 excess is slightly steep but the quote is £500. Other than that the cheapest for me is £1000 (42 day driving ban SP30 doesnt help....).

Can't tell you where the cheapest is, but you don't need to dismantle the dash and you will never know where it is. They fit them in any one of dozens of locations, else as soon as a car were stolen the thief would go straight to that spot

Both my BMWs have them, done by the dealer. Life time subscription - was not that expensive. I would not have it done elsewhere, but that is only my opinion ...

Yeah - it took me ages to find when I stole your Zed yesterday.

I too have it dealer fitted. Lifetime ownership subscription inc.

Should already be fitted they have been OEM on BMW's for getting on for the last 10 years it just needs activating with a tracker subscription.

Really? Which model of Tracker?

As far as I know the hardware of Tracker is Tracker where if differs is in the level of cover you choose to activate.

Little thread resurrect!

A forum member from a Dutch forum just reported a Zed stolen from a friend. A stock 3.0, nothing really special about it. Although I have an anti-carjack system, I would feel more secure knowing where the car would be when it stops running after a few minutes. GPS Trackers have become really cheap nowadays with the sim card system. No contracts, just a rechargeable simcard and you're good to go.

I'm going to try this supercheap one, recommended by another Zed owner:
