Cheapest place for BMW parts

I have joined the BMW car club = 10% discount from Vines in Guildford
What do I need to do or where to go to get a better discount for pukka BMW parts
I need about £700 of bits - lights etc

Depends what you are after. It's difficult to find dealers who supply genuine BMW parts at massive discounts beyond the 10% you will get through the BMW club. Many electrical parts can be purchesed to the same BMW standard from the original manufacturer (Bosch parts for example) the only difference is they don't come in a BMW package or with a BMW part number.
 
Have you tried inputting your part numbers into http://www.cooper-bmw-parts.co.uk/ to see what they're selling them at (just to compare of course).

Some parts will be available from ECP/GSF, but sometimes they're cheaper, sometimes they're not.

You can always negotiate with the parts department yourself - or ring around various dealers, as I know the 3 closest to me never have the same price for any particular part.
 
Have been making a list of suppliers I'm looking at for pricing on my current projects, will post a list at the end... but in the mean time, for OEM I have Cooper Parts (given by mmm-five) and also:
