Really want to upgrade to the new shape Z4. Still dreaming at the moment but this was the cheapest one I could find.

What are peoples opinions on the new Z4? How does it compare with the old model? Is it the same engine as the E85 2.5? Looking at the 23i sdrive. I know nothing about the new model and a bit of info/advice would be much appreciated

Well I'm not saying I preferred this one, just that it was the cheapest I could find. Still trying to figure out a way to get one of these badboys!

Yep with the £6k you could save getting an M at current prices you're sorted in terms of M tax and fuel costs. ///M all the way

im not keen on the styling, also seems quite large - I'm gonna wait to see what the Z2 will be like, well if its ever released

My old E85 2.5i Sport has 177hp, and E89 sDrive23i M Sport now has 204hp. The new car is slightly faster (6.6 sec vs 7.1 sec). But E89 is much more refined. The M Sport suspension on E85 is better (or softer). I love it. :D

If you buy E89, I think the must have options are sport seats, bluetooth prep., USB interface, and loudspeaker system - BMW business.

Oh my God! 25,564 miles on an 09 plate - I wouldn't touch it with yours. :)

and parking sensors... and heated seats... and at least 18" wheels... :poke: :D

Only driven on dry weekends. 52k miles, must have good weather where he lives :D

The only E89 I would consider at the moment is the 35is in white, but I still think I could do much more with 40k.

MC - 23k
SC - 8k
brakes - 3k
suspension - 3k
CSLs - 1.5k
exhust - 1.5k

:D
