Don't know it, but looks cheap, even with 78k...a good buy for some1, if history/hpi checks all ok :)

At that price you would simply swap the seats with someone for standard black if you really didn't like them, or even respray the car.

Bargain if it checks out as a clean, straight car.

This is true and what I was thinking when I looked at an interlagos with imola. Seat swap would have been easy.

Any thoughts other than the seat colour guys?! :D

To be honest I have already have two black cars both with black leather interiors, so the blue/red is an OK change.

At a more practical peel, how well does the Z4M take higher miles and any real issues to look out for?

No real issues with mileage. Just check for strange noises around the vanos area but the engines are pretty bullet proof. If you look on here there are reports of bearing shells spinning as well as the vanos issues but both are rare on the Z4M

Blue with red leather. from me

I agree, and it's not a recommended colour combination by BMW either.

I disagree - love this combo, and it's really, really rare. However I'm not one to go against any recommendations BMW makes, so I guess I will have to un-love it :(

:P

I agree with Bing, love it . I have been looking at this car for quite a while now and I'm sure it started off well into the £11,000s

It was quite a bit more a while back. If you're only going to use it for weekends then it's a complete steal at that price. Definitely the right time to buy if your perfect car is out there right now.

So do you reckon this trader has had it in stock for a while then?

Pretty sure it was for sale privately when it first came up. There was one with this colour combo for sale on here a while back, can't remember if it was this one though.

This Mroady could quite easily be enjoyed for zero money if you sell the right time of year ?
Check the service record is up to date & the wheel,s + tyres are good then factor in £1500 for 6/8months running costs (worse case scenario) & keep the mileage down .
£11.5K / £12k next July/Aug should not be a problem 8) if the paperwork all adds up of course

Thanks for the reply, service is up to date and tyres are good. Comes with fresh mot but needs taxed in February. I think the £500 road tax is the most off putting aspect of these cars.

I don't share your optimism of its value next year though. it will be a toy so won't do a lot of miles but even so it will still have tipped 80K by then, looking at MR Prices and given the mileage and another year older I don't think it will be anything other than a £10K car (and that would be on a good day)! Cheers :D

Even with £500 tax, if everything else is pukka then it's still a steal. It's probably hung around a bit because - as you can see from responses on here - many people don't like the colour combo. And it's low season on roadsters. I say do it - what a great Christmas present

I think you may be a little negative on the future value ? PM "Z4M-2006" , he has a good knowledge of the used M market having sold 2 recently & pretty sure both were around 75/80k & pretty sure he achieved more than £12k 8)
Its about knowing the car is in fine fettle with zero spend required & more importantly when selling some good pics & enthusiastic description aka Paza3 :P
Best of luck with whatever you decide
