Cheap Coupe Anyone?

With a heavy heart I have to sell the Coupe – Just put an offer in on a house (unexpectedly!).

07 3.0SI Sport Auto (flappy paddles) Facelift in Monaco Blue.

28,000 Miles

Black Leather and brushed aluminium trim.

Full BMW SH with brake fluid and Inspection 1 done last month

Remaining (6 months) AUC BMW Warranty and Roadside assistance

6 months MOT & TAX

Cup holders, cargo nets, Bluetooth prep (with snap in iPhone 3gs holder in arm rest + one other (not sure what phone its for), OEM car cover, OEM mats, stubby and whip, tinted rear windows, bmw ipod connector, and much much more (everything except sat nav basically – I think).

Some swirls on the paintwork and a couple of light scratches here and there, one small impact mark to driver’s side wheel, scuffing on the usual place on the driver seat
bolster. I point these out to be uber honest but they do not detract from the quality of the car at all, just minor issues that need seeing to if you want concourse finish. I think the wheels were refurbed before I bought it in Feb as they are in excellent condition. Also front bumper has had BMW respray very recently so no stone chips or scratches etc and over all the car looks tip top.

Also, arm rest/console door hinges broken (still open and closes etc..) and headlight washer jet leak. Both easy to sort I am told but I won’t get around to it.

Slow puncture in front drivers side tyre which I didn’t sort as was going to get non run-flats. Never been a problem, just top it up every couple of days.

There is finance outstanding but this will be cleared before it is sold - either entirely by me or by you paying the finance co or by a combination of the two. We can discuss but all above board....

Recently had a lot of work done to it (nothing major – just sorting niggles as I don't do niggles) by main dealer – receipts kept. Check my other posts for details – no secrets here. Lots of the Forum members have seen this car on North Wales and Lakes Runs so feel free to chip in and say what you think about it.

In terms of price, I’ll let you tell me what it is worth. I have a trade in figure and a settlement figure so am looking for somewhere in between. It needs to go and needs to go quickly so no reasonable/realistic offer will be refused.

This add is somewhat hastily cobbled together so PM me with phone number if you want to discuss anything or post any questions here. I am looking for a quick sale please so please please please no time-wasters and no stupid offers either (please).

Don’t know what more to say other than the car will be sorely missed as will the good friends I have made in my short time on the Forum. I will miss our runs out. When the house finances settle I hope to get another Z (probably an older Mroadster as the Mrs is selling her bug vert too and so will want a vert as and when we get another “posh” car) if just for the forum runs.

Thanks!

Nice colour... then I am a little biased,

wish you lots of luck

Thanks gents. Absolutely gutted to be fair but the house is "the one" and 12 months of graft and I'll be back in the game.

An Indy has just offered me 13k so if I don't do better on here by nxt wknd, that'll do. Rather it went to a Z4umer.

Such a shame your selling but i suppose bricks and mortar are bit more of a priority, but you know where we are when you return.

good luck fella

thanks chaps - It is a lot of car for the money and I am taking a hit but the house is worth it and I reckon it won't be long before I am back in the market for an earlier roadster (though the coupes are far prettier!)

I just hope someone on (or through) here sees it and takes advantage/moves quickly so I dont have to have the pain of driving past it on the dealer's forecourt or worse seeing it being driven around locally!

No one off here gents, which is a shame. The Indy upped to offer. I probably should have held out but bird in the hand etc.... If anyone wants it, its in Newhall West Kirby and I can vouch for it being a fantastic car.

Now to start saving up again.....

All the best gents (and ladies) will check in every now and then with more of my dodgy jokes and photo comp entries.

Oh yeas - OEM car cover for sale if anyone is interested - 4 months old and a bit grubby on the outside (machine washable) but otherwise faultless. Very easy to use. Taking offers...

Thanks

Dan - keep visiting the forum and the temptation to rejoin the ranks will soon get you again. Until next time! Tony

Is that an internal or external cover (if that makes sense?!)? Any pics?

One Team

Hi. Its an external one. No pics of it on I'm afraid.... Happy to do money back guarantee less postage costs?

Same boat as me Danny, a few months without a Z and we'll appreciate them all the more once there's another one parked on the drive!

Glad u got a better offer/and sold it quickly, and someone missed out on a bargain.

Was good meeting u and Vic,Danny...and hopefully u will get another z4 in the not-too-distant future, mate.
All the best with the house

Thanks craig - very kind words. It was fantastic meeting you all and I am already suffering from depression driving Vic's beetle. I keep forgetting I haven't quite got as much OOOMPH and have committed to some dicey overtaking..... Getting the hang of it now though...
