The pictures don't look very recent unless summer comes early in Porsche land

Was merely browsing over my croissant & still happy with the V6 for now  tax due tomorrow so may as well enjoy it a while yet :driving:

For similar money I would much rather have this,

Its down the road from me, in my "Looking for a sensible hatchback" price range and so tempted to replace my Z3  but I'm being told I would be disowned if I went ahead :(

The problem with the Cayman is the Fisher Price interior :|

Tim.

Guessing you would chop the E89 in for this as well? Only need one car then!

Sorry not for me. I thought the purpose of buying a Porsche or high end motor is for it to be special? This is about as special as a Ford Fiesta...

Harsh words indeed :?

Is it the Cayman in general or just this particular one you think is not worthy of the badge ?

If it,s just this one what would it need to make you feel special when you took it out ?

Nothing wrong with a Cayman - A colleague has an older 3.4 s at work and it looks and sounds great, this just looks so bland and I dont think the 2.7 will sounds as good as the 3.4, I may be wrong. Id rather have my zed coupe. Far more distinctive..

There is supposedly something "pure" about a 2.7 manual poverty spec Cayman. The driving experience would be unclutterd by large wheels and daft trinkets inside the cabin. The full range of performance would be usable on the public highway when the limits of the S should only be found on the track.

I've not driven one however, but would be up for giving it a go.

I think i like toys too much though. Was moaning to myself this weekend about the lack of Proper Speakers in my Z4 and this Morning I was moaning about the lack of integrated NAV.
