To be honest such stupid, dangerous and damaging behaviour has always been a problem.

About 30 years ago I had an object dropped on my car from a bridge - unfortunately for the scroat I knew the area and turned off to wait at the end of the pedestrian subway he'd vacate - sure enough. . .well the kid (that's all he was) nearly sh 'one' t himself and I felt somewhat better having seen that reaction when I gave him a blast about his behaviour - but that wasn't how I felt when the object hit the car - ready to let fly.

I still watch out for folk on footbridges even now and have changed lanes and varied speeds to avoid them at times.

Today I've been in the Zed and your post has made me wary and I'm now watching for concealed kids behind corners and oncoming scroats. . .

as if there's not enough to watch out for. :headbang: :x

if some bastard did that to me they'd soon be scrambling for cover.

It's not always easy to catch them!
Many years ago I had a lump of soil dropped off a footbridge. I drove over the verge and tried to catch them on foot - I was early thirties and reasonably fit in those days.
Did I catch them? No chance. It was like chasing rabbits in an open field. Ie straight down their warrens.

I was then standing looking like a right plonka in a rough council estate!

Agree not easy at all. When my zed was hit, the retards were standing on the foot path and did a basic throw and run which resulted in 3 cars been hit :( . By the time I stopped the wee shites had split and vanished in all directions.

You see, when I wrote "scrambled" I was referring to...I'll get my coat.

Agree if they're not stopped some one is going to get badly injured.

When egg thrown from car hits a person in the face. In this case my eldest who while smiling and doing a thumbsup now has permanent damage to his eyesight. Happened in Manchester City centre, but no CCTV coverage.

I had eggs thrown at my car from a car that was behind. First one bounced and landed in my passenger seat. I thought it was a rubber egg until two landed on the road beside me. I was turning onto the bypass near my house so was committed to making the turn.

Luckily the bypass was a slightly longer alternative to the road they were travelling on so I floored it to catch them and came out just behind them about 3 miles on.

The girl that was driving s**t herself and tried to do a runner down a country lane. Went too fast for her driving skills, rolled it and wrote off her mums brand new 13 plate Golf. She was in traction for a month and both the lads had broken legs.

So, to all those people who have had eggs thrown at them, justice is sometimes served.
