Out for a minor hoon today. Whilst on the way home I was in a procession of traffic going a respectable 60mph ish on a windy single carriageway with no chance of an overtake and not much point. To be honest, I was just enjoying the sun and the exhaust note

Anyway in the distance I could see a silver saxo, lowered with the obligatory baseball cap wearing yoof at the helm. He comes charging up my chuff, backs off, comes charging up again, repeat ad nauseum. I was going to have words at a point I knew we'd have to stop but eventually he turned off so the chance never arose. I live in fear I'm going to get rear ended by one of these twats. :headbang:

Last year one like this followed me into the local supermarket car park, constantly revving the engine. Lowered and some bloody awful body kit badly fitted all round and what looked like a bike exhaust sticking out the back. So he pulls up into a parking space; the front is so low it hits the kerb, the bumper disintegrates like a badly put together Airfix kit – priceless!

Yes for some reason they all have itchy feet and feel the need to repeatedly scratch their foot on the accelerator :x

More annoying is the fart cannon exhausts which resonate the beastly 1600cc 4 pot piggy squeal for miles around :headbang:

Peco Big Bore 4 anyone? Guaranteed 35 bhp gain on a cat back system... honest :?

:exitright:

Sometimes they are only doing it so they can see our cars accelerate. nothing wrong with that, if that is the case.
Its the unmarked Police cars that do it, they are the tw@ts.

Just be careful tho.
If you see an old white Nissan Micra around newcastle, with body kit and the bonnet modded to give the headlights eyebrows, it's bloomin fast  It's just been turbod by a guy I work with, it would beat my car 0-60 if it could put it's power down in 1st or 2nd  Build quality is a little questionable though

I must admit, I occasionally stab my throttle for fun if there's a modded chad chariot around

There can be some truth in that.

Back in uni a friend pulled up alongside a TVR. There was 4 of them in a 1.0l Fiesta, and they kept blipping the throttle - purely goading the TVR driver into unleashing the most beautiful engine soundtrack on British roads. They had no intention what so ever to race, so came home delighted to tell us how the TVR left the traffic lights like a cat on a hot tin roof. It made their day.

classic - would have loved to see that!

Hardly a chav chariot, but had a 118i rocking on the clutch next to me at lights today. I poked it a little, as i wanted to get past and into his lane, expecting to see him behind me already, but give him a star he was having a go. Must be the lack of engine badges on my car... Needless to say I floored it and claimed my place in his lane

Not really attracted any chav chariots yet, but I shall report back as and when
