Chatsworth, now The Eyre Arms in Calver Sunday 24th July 9.30 onwards

called in this morning to see if it was gong to be any good
yes and no
the breakfast good , cooked to order
car park is big enough for us
but Sunday is their busiest day and would only be to accommodate us first thing,
granted if you just turned up what would they do
so it looks like a no go
i shall get back in my box with the cat :headbang:

I believe it was last year sometime the landlord at the Eyre arms Calver crossroads joined the forum. I think he'd bought a Z4 or It may have been to just drum up some business.
Anyway he was up for a meet at his pub iirc.
I'm not sure what they do food wise but may be worth checking out as an alternative venue.

I could be up for this once you've put some dates up
just trying to sort venue
but would be nice to meet some local zeders

Mark if you want me to pop in and have a chat just give me a shout, I'm 1.5 miles away, born and brought up in Calver so some local chat might not do any harm. Anyway I won't interfere unless you want me to.

Might be worth checking Chatsworth's calendar as well Mark, they do an MG and TVR meet

It would appear I stumbled on the TVR meet totally by chance this morning whilst taking my old mum for breakfast at Hassop station Mark, taken a couple of phone pics so you can see how much room there is, huge car park and dozens of tables inside and out, vast menu doing pretty much everything and no need to book etc, I had a word with a steward they did'nt even need to tell the kitchen they we're coming and there must have been 60 TVR's there. Anyway just something for your information.
