Here are a few of mine as I tweaked it and got it re-done a few times..

Looks like you need new RTABs and maybe some of the front steering bushes have sagged a bit..its not badly out from what I can see..

Why tyres so low at 33psi?
At that pressure i would be unable to turn steering wheel.

What is annoying is the rear toe, makes it a bugger to reverse.

That was the old tyre pressure, what is the correct pressure

where do you get this done fellas?

It might be worth posting a question for 4-wheel alignment suggestions in your area.

After changing the ride height of my current E86, removing spacers and going back to 18" OE wheels from 19" after-market ones I had mine done by TWG Automotive in Camberley and the way it drives has been transformed!

Will, the principal, is ex-Sytner and probably invested in Laser alignment kit and a 4 wheel lift because he was racing in the BMW (E36) Compact Cup series, although he now races Legends on circuits.

While most Kwik-fit outlets have Hunter laser alignment kit, getting it right is probably more dependent upon interpreting the results than reading them!

Typical pressures are here..

https://www.wheel-size.com/size/bmw/z4/2010/

The primary reason for the high pressures is at a sustained 155mph you need a lot of pressure in the tyre to cope with the speed.

In the UK given peak and average speeds it arguable to go for lower pressures

People (generally) tend to settle in the 32-38 front and 34-40 rear with a 2 psi pressure differential..

That's a distillation of about 9,745 posts.. :tumbleweed:

I'd suggest you start with 34/36 and try a bit up and down from there..IMHO

Hi Pete

The tyre pressures at the moment are 35 front 37 rears, which seems to be ok, new tyres.

I measured the front and rear wheels from the ground to the wheel arch lip, this is 66.5cm Rear, with 67.5cm at the front, purchased new springs yesterday so will now start to re fresh the whole lot including bushes, dampers and anti roll bars etc.

Sounds like a plan, are you going for the M3 steering arms and/or the uprated bearing on the top steering link?

These are packaged examples..the M3 stuff can be bought via autodoc cheaper,,the big monoball is a us buy I think
