Browsing the bmwcar magazine few days before I saw this chassis cleaner from karcher. Went on internet to obtain more info about the product it seams to be a brand new product. I fancy the idea of buying one...think it
could be useful! http://www.karcher.co.uk/uk/Products/Home__Garden/Accessories.htm?&sdp=ac&pid=26425610&accessoriesGroupName=Special+applications&pn=Chassis+Cleaner&title=Chassis+Cleaner&refP=%2Fuk%2FProducts%2FHome__Garden%2FAccessories.htm%3F%26accGrNm%3D10011602__Special%2520applications

With this cold weather the car is covered in road salt and I'm stuck in the house (Internet shopping)

Have just ordered one of these, £78 from amazon

Please bring it with you next time you drop by. I have a powerful Karcher in the garage and it would be rude not to test it out :)

Not a problem phil, well that's if it fits under the car!

Not a winner then if it doesn't fit underneath :(
I guess it will be good to leave on the drive ready for Haloween 'trick or treat' or welcoming double glazing salesmen...

It arrived this morning, as it's quite mild outside i gave it a go

On opening the box i did think, bugger its not going to fit under the car - But after putting the pieces together (took 2 mins) it slides under the car with a couple of cm to spare (although it dont it will fit under Z's with eibach's)

As shown in the below pics it rests on a set of castors and even with my uneven surface it glides quite easily back and forth and side to side.

The output pressure is very good, although i guess this depends on the pressure washer you have

Anyway.. I gave it a 5 minute blast and all sorts of debris and sediment came off the bottom on the car - for £78 you cannot go wrong

Neat little gadget
You know where I live :D

I need to go to the shenstone garden center the weekend, probably tomorrow around noon - you going to be around? if so i will bring it along

Afternoon - yes, but over in Leicester with the Jag fro some trivil warranty work in the late morning.

Amazing really that I'll drive by 2 dealers and 40 minute drive to get to the Leicester one as their service is so good - Speaks volumes about the effects of good/bad service

I've got a gadget for the power washer but it doesn't look as effective as this, it looks ideal for getting that nasty road salt off
