Charging points

Hi everyone, putting my Zed away in garage and on a CTEK charger. The clamps do not reach to the points in the hand book under the bonnet. I’m assuming I can use another bolt as the negative. Picture attached to show what I’ve done

Odd, my ctek fitted just fine. Isn't the 'official' negative over to the left hand side from memory?

This: (need to turn the positive in the best direction). Close, but reaches - on a 3.0 anyway!

Mine doesn't reach, either.
Ctek do longer leads from the connector apparently that can be bought as an accessory.

Anywhere with a good earth is fine.

Congrats on a VERY clean engine bay BTW. Looks like new!

Almost reaches, another 3 inch would do the job perfect…….Yes the engine bay is pristine. Luckily was like this when I got it so easy to keep on top of it .A quick wipe with a damp cloth every time I wash the car is all it takes.

Yes, that’s right. Mine didn’t reach so bought an extension cable by Ctek
