Charging Battery

I was thinking of getting a battery conditioner so thanks for the iput. Is it one of these then? I presume 36/3600 is the same. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/products/products/59301/ctek_36_charger_conditioner.html

FWIW sounds like rubbish to me about short trips. Mine hardly does anything other than sub 30 mile trips and only last winter when nearly 5 years old did it start to sound a bit low.

Glad you got it fixed though srhutch. You sure it wasn't waterlogged from the other day? lol

stick, that like is the right one or the xs800 will do if you only want to keep it topped up.

mine was do to lack of use (4-5 weeks) and probably also the dension and bluetooth kit

think the car has just dried out now though :D

Glad to hear it. Not sure mine's ever been so dirty! lol. If it's safe to do so, not setting the alarm can help preserve battery life, I believe. If it's ever safe, that is

A little CTEK help please, maybe it's normal I don't know...

Had my battery on charge today for about 4-5 hours and the CTEK was still on the half battery symbol, as expected probably as the Z4M battery is 70Ah and according the CTEK manual this should take about 15-20 hours to charge (from zero I presume).

The thing I don't understand is when I remove it from the mains then return it to power it says it is fully charged by way of the full battery symbol.

Can anybody enlighten me please :?
