Changing Wheels - Questions

Hi All
I'm going to be changing my wheels from the stock 16" to some 18" 108s, so I've got some questions:
Can I use my existing wheel nuts, or do I need different ones?
Sure this has been asked before, but what tyres (non RFT ideally) do peeps recommend?
Once fitted, does anything need doing other than resetting the pressure monitors?
