Changing the Oil Filter

I know how to change the oil which is pretter straight forward, but have no clue on how to change the oil filter.

Does anyone know where the hell this thing is - is it the silver looking cylinder right at the front of the engine??

I've always changed my oil mid service, as i drive the car quite hard - and now that it's over 20k miles i'd like to do both every 10k miles.

Any pic would be great if anyone has them to hand.
