Changing side indicator colour

All,

After having my wheels freshly powder coated yesterday (Shadow Chrome), I now need the side indicators to match. I’m thinking ‘graphite’- any other ideas or suggestions on products to use?

Here’s the wheel:

He’s the paint I’m looking at, just worried as it’s a high temp paint it may not go well with plastic!

E-Tech Graphite Extremely High Temperature Spray Paint Brake Caliper Engine Block 650'C https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007AFKGMA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_sA7VEbGCM5X4G

But on the plus side, I could then also use the paint for the brake rotor hubs and calipers, which are a little rusted.

Thanks!

I can’t help with the indicator question, but the wheels look fantastic. I think you have just made my mind up for me in the refurb colour!

[ref]Silverstar[/ref], yeah the LCI chrome- it’s an idea I guess :D

To give you an idea how it might look colour coded here's mine but it would work on any colour:

[ref]Silverstar[/ref], think it looks nice in black; but not sure orange will work with the orange indicator lenses.

The indicator lenses are white? they only become amber / yellow / orange when the indicators are on otherwise they are white.

Hi did you get these lci indicators already painted or did you have to paint them yourself. I have seen chrome ones on evilbay for about £90 but can’t find black anywhere

I had my bodyshop / paint shop paint them. From BMW they are only available in chrome.

I wasn't aware of that. In real OEM I can only see one type and that is for the standard chrome ones:

Could it be you bought them from a dealer / supplier who painted them before selling?

Mine are painted Saphire Black to match my car rather than gloss black.

They were bought as a BMW part from a German BMW dealer..I’ll delve back into my old emails to see if I can find the records

I do remember that at the time I stumbled via Google on the site...was about to order the chrome ones and saw they offered the gloss black as a genuine BMW part...bingo..

I remember a little while back seeing some black LCI indicators being sold on eBay, can't remember who the seller was or what country but they were silly money around 200 GBP if I can recall. Seemed to me like they just purchased them from BMW and painted them up and put them up for sale. It cost me a fraction of that to get them painted to body colour.

EDIT: Found them:
