Changing rear shocks: what do I need?

Hi all. My rear shocks appear to be original to the car and appear completely shot; with replacement needed. I’m on a budget so can’t spend silly money so am looking at the shocks from ECP.

My question is: what else will I need to fit them, and any other parts that I should replace whilst there?

Thanks

Bilstein B4s are cheaper from here:

I paid £145 for a pair or rear Sachs and top mounts on eBay a while ago, I'm assuming as you've changed the springs already you know how to do the shocks and are asking just about parts not a how to? There's not really anything else worth changing at the same time as there's so little to remove for access to the shocks.
I'd get new bolts, shearing them isn't uncommon.

thanks. Yeah more about what parts I need. Shocks and top mounts; are the reinforcement plates advised?

Then check out the how to guide, getting to the top bolts is a b#tch in the E85 if you’ve not done it before

I replaced mine yesterday. Went with Sachs as the bilstein B4s seemed to be out of stock everywhere. Access to the top mount was straight forward enough with the excellent guide on here and all went well. Not the case with the rtab bush replacement though. Booked in for an alignment later today.

Thanks. I’ve already done my rtab’s and found them hard work as I don’t have any power tools

I bought new foam pad things (can't remember the name for them) for my rear shocks, as my originals looked like they'd been nibbled on by a hamster  they were quite cheap, so worth replacing.

I didn't get the reinforcement plates, I forgot to mention new bump stops and whatever the plastic cover tubes are called that go on the shocks, old ones might be fine though.
