Changing kidneys-

Hi all -does anyone know if there is a youtube vid on changing e85 kidneys?-ive seen the outer ring only one,the other seem to look at 1 and 3 series?-thanks
 
Do you mean remove the grill, its a peace of cake, the grills pop out lift and pull , you do not need give any effort if you are then stop!, as it may damage. Just a little pull there are 3 points that pop out

Once there have been removed the little metal clips around the side just pop up, honestly your been fine. Just do each one at a time, otherwise you may snap a tab. I did it this week

Andy - lift / push up, then pull the bottom out gently. The top then slides back down and out :thumbsup:
 
Mmm , pulling out yeah? , have you tried at different points? as I search on the forum about the 3rd grill along but I did that and no joy so tried at different point and it came out.

It comes pretty easy , no great force as said above but still a bit around 15% power !! :P . I think I put two hands on it one near the top lifting and the other hand near the bottom pulling!! and they popped out you can feel it giving in certain points

Thats all I can suggest ? in my novice experience :thumbsup:
 
Two handed pull and they come away easily. When you've done it once its a synch after that. The first time you're worried you may break them.
