Changing Boot and bonnet badges???

Boot one pops out, use a thin screwdriver or similar remember and use something to protect the paint work, Bonnet one, Remove kidney grills They pop out but be gentle, Then access the badge holding clips or nuts from behind.

Try and use something non-metallic rather than a screwdriver, its alot safer..strong plastic knife, plastic ice scraper etc
You could try my old favourite for jobs like this.
Get yourself a cheap toothbrush, one of the nylon handled ones not the newer ergonomically flexible type and file the handle end down at an angle so that you end up with a sort of plastic screwdriver, I just rub mine down on concrete :roll: and neaten up with a file.
You've now got yourself a tool that has a multitude of uses ie; removing badges, trim, panels etc.

Actually the flat-head screwdriver works well if you put a cloth underneath it to protect your paint. Just 'pull up' with the screwdriver but don't 'pry' where you're leveraging off the paintwork.
Another option I have done successfully on other BMW's is with a locking suction cup. Similar to what you'd find on a GPS that suctions to the windshield. Smaller suction cups like that can be found for bathroom mirrors that will fit the badge.
