Changing alloy wheels

Hi , I've just bought a 61 plate Z4 e89 and the original alloys have cracked on the rear ( run flats fitted as standard ) loving the car , but after doing some reading on here it seems this is a huge problem nation wide. I am certain that I will buy new wheels and tyres , the ones i'm looking at will have the same speed ratings and tyre sizes but the offset might not be the same , original off set i believe is 40 , these will be ET35 (Front) & ET35 (Rear) does that mean the wheels will be inside the arches more or have i got that the wrong way around? Will the run flat detector on the car need any mods or do i still pump them to the required psi and reset the computer ? Many Thanks :)

The wheels will fit bfyi the lower the ET or offset number the further the wheel face is from the brake disc .
TPMS should not be affected but may need resetting

Going through the same - have bought two non run flats and a new alloy going to get them fitted and checked tomorrow - looks like its the way to go. although the wheels may be weak its the run flats that kill them especially on 19" as there is absolutely no give in the tyre.
