Dull!! :poke:
Silver is the best colour to show the lines of the car

Well not dull maybe more common place ?

A lot of BMW and Porsche seem to be silver.Very popular colour.

Maybe the most practical colour for looking good day to day.

If you add the grey and silver together its the most popular e89 shade

If you ask me silver is making a comeback now that black, then white, had their run.
Ther is no doubt though that black as an interior, though servisible, is drab and boring. Cream
Interior looks far more luxurious and expensive.
I have DSB and its a nightmare to look after, whereas my silve Boxster was so easy, especially in winter when a quick jet wash without even drying made it look good. Dark colours always need drying.
Wife has a space grey 3 series and that's also great to look after

If I was buying new now I would go for silver/grey with red interior

I think red is going to be the next big colour. Silver was big before black and white. Even the Police took the silver option in a lot of models as white wasn't available and silver made them worth more when they sold them on.

Agreed - Red is making a come back -particularly Metallic Reds . Range Rover Sport was launched in Red Metallic - which is unusual as 80% new are black .

The F types in the dealers ( I think they got 3) are Metallic Grey, White and one Red.

Love my Melbourne Red, it changes hue depending on the angle of the Sun. It looks it's best in the sunny late evening. (like we get lots of them , NOT)

Silver grey, carbon black, titanium silver, Estoril blue to name my favs

First three with red leather! Estoril with black but a individual piping. Awesome

Either way you can't go wrong. BMW paint is renowned for swirls anyway.
