Changed steering wheel but airbag "loose"

Changed my steering wheel for a MFSW one yesterday using sideshowbobs how-to but noticed that the airbag doesnt seat properly on the wheel. Is this normal?

It engages ok in the clips but seems to rest on the bottom spoke and there is a 5mm gap at the top that I can rock the airbag into. I reseated it a few times but it sat like this every time. Should I have swapped something else over from the original wheel or is there maybe something missing from the second hand MFSW?
 
I'd suggest it's not fully clipped In. Remove it, check no wires are trapped and refit.
Use a screwdriver to release the clips to refit.
 
Had another look at it today and there is still a bit of play (over and above the horn movement) but it seems to be as good as I can get it. It doens't rattle or anything so I guess that is it. Anyone else experience this?
