finally got around to changing my wheels over to my newly bought 108's today .... really happy with them... BUT now I know why so many of you guys bang on about painting your calipers and drums ..... :o what a mess they look :oops:

next job .... to paint calipers and drums !! (ahem .... hubs :wink: )
 
108's are very open and certianly show off cruddy calipers. So where's the pictures

You don't have any drums though as found on th rear of old Corsa's, etc.... :poke: Top hat on the discs is what you probably mean

pics - only had my phone with me so I'll try to get some off that .... still waiting for the B&W centre caps though, so not finished with em yet.

excellent work on them - they look great. Defo need to do something like that to mine. Did you paint the hubs too?

thanks - pleased with the wheels too. Shame that I am reversing what someone put alot of time into sorting out (lowering it and adding the BBS's) but want it to be my zed!

Have just listed the BBS's in the for sale section :thumbsup:
 
was dubious about your swap to 108s but to be fair, with your colour choice, they do look very nice indeed! :thumbsup:
 
I'll try and get some proper pics tomorrow. The B&W centre emblems arrived today and are really nice. Problem is that the caps I have are a 'mid grey' plastic and they really stand out against the dark metallic 108's.

When I got home from work I sprayed the centre caps in metallic silver ready to put the emblems in tomorrow 8)
