I just love how clean your car is Darren  even with the wheel off it still looks nice & clean, enjoy your new rims when you get them. :)

Looks so good with original wheels. Planned to be the first thing I bought after the car but love them so much I am keeping the 224s on

It's very sad, but it's great taking the wheels off, cleaning the arches till they gleam, then sticking the wheels back on so nobody can see. Just knowing they are so clean is enough

Thanks Lee

Its easy to keep on top of it once you've got stuck in, the first time it wasn't so pretty :D

My family think I'm mad Bing, I know I'm OCD and smile to myself when I'm cleaning :D

I had a 'moment' today... Just starting to dry the wheels and get tyre shine on, Wee Bing texts and asks to be collected... All of a sudden I am worrying about residual water and tyre shine splattering in the bodywork as I haven't let it sit for a while like I normally do

I respect your dedication Darren & Bing it must give you both great satisfaction to have such clean motors, enjoy

Removed the wax from my wheels that I applied on Friday. I did take for a quick spin on Friday and on the fronts already there was piles of brake dust. :headbang:

Luckily didn't show in the pictures I took today (I don't think so anyway)

In my opinion the best colour for Z4 is Imola Red,and yours looks stunning with 224,s fitted.CSL wheels in my view have a very messy centre, looks like a cow pat in the centre of the wheel, the 224 wheel has a very tidy centre.
It is probably just me as I have not heard anyone else express this view.

Thanks for your kind words

Not sure I agree with the cowpat, but I do like the 224's...

Just taken my CSL (reps) off today - and the 224s are on.
What a difference to the ride, much smoother and more compliant.
Had a bit of a moment though, tyres were a bit cold still and DSC was off. I don;t know how long Niz (Adelphi) had these in storage, but I've never put them on before, and we've had the car three months, So they were a bit 'green' too.
A dab of opposite lock is maybe understating it a bit. Full on wheel twirling would be nearer the mark.
I may have even said a naughty word as well.
