I bought these a few months ago and finally got round to fitting them, they are fitted with Orange LEDs which come on bright over the indicator lense.

Poor pics off my Iphone

Looking good. Is it a film over the orange plastic or have they been sprayed? Also, what does the left reverse unit look like?

 Looks good

Which LED bulbs did you use with the indicators and did they have resistors fitted to avoid warning lights on the dash? I have a similar mod in progress but I'm going for a clear fog and reverse lenses, red indicators and then a clear 3rd brake light.

Damn you! That's (almost) exactly what I've got planned for mine, again on a silver Z4. I intended keeping the french fries though. Are those a standard/amber set spray tinted?

Does it flash through a "good" orange? i.e. bright and orange enough to be legal and an MOT pass?

LOL Sorry Ally, the orange is passable for an MOT,Its sprayed on just the orange circle and the reverse light, I'm also going to refit my french fries I just never had tape to stick them on today.I'm due a MOT at the end of June so I'll just swap them back over for the old ones then. Easy as pie three bolts and 10minutes work.

I'd imagine even with a ridiculously bright orange bulb the light will still be reddish.

You can however use a green bulb to gt a red Lens to emit orange light... That's what some car manufacturers do.

...and great minds think alike again - that was my plan if I go for this idea :D

I just want something different to the 4 clear spots that's becoming almost as common as the stubby (and as you know I don't follow convention...)
