Changed my exhaust tips (2.0L)

I posted this in my progress thread but it doesn't get much traffic. So, as I'm sure there are lots of other 'four potters' out there looking to do the same, thought I'd post it in here.

So I dropped the car off at the local garage who agreed to modify the back box exit using the twin tips a lovely forum member kindly donated to me.

Really happy with the outcome and nice to lose the 'peashooter'!

That looks better! Have one to do myself for a forum member this week, along with modding the box at the same time to release some noise..

Did you make sure the garage used stainless welding wire and tube when doing your's?

Hi Mike,

Would love this done to mine.

How much would you charge and is it a job you could do in a day if I drove over :) :driving: :driving:

For reference this cost me £100, which is also what Mike quoted. I only went local for ease.

Mike - presume they used stainless yes.

I'll have a 2.0 box taken in swap on Sunday, so I can either do just the tips, or tips and internal mods? Either way, it's a 15 min swap.
