My carbon leather trim arrived this morning so I set about fitting it today. Dash was a doddle, took about 15mins to change. The centre console was a complete and utter c*nt though. Words cannot describe how much of a c*nt it was. I have just got everything back together but I have given up for the night. Just gone to refit the ashtray console and does it fit. Does it f**k!!! Looks like I have to rip everythin back out and then fit the ashtray ffirst. Car battery is dead aswell. Brilliant night so far... :thumbsdown:

Try the ashtray in the morning when you're less frustrated - there is no way you should need to take it all apart again to refit it, and I am not sure how you'd fit it first... It should be the last thing you do, surely ? I've taken mine out a few times now to fit / fix / refit my Gaptech as that's where it sits. Takes some angle to kind of roll it into place, and it can be hard as you need to make sure the loom is stuffed as far back as possible otherwise it gets in the way.
Take a chill pill and revel in the glory that is a properly carbonised ///M 8)
