Change to 18’s

Hi, looking to go up to 18 inch from 17
Currently have Goodyear non rft
The wheels I’m considering have decent rfts
Would that be a bad move, seen a lot of bad press about rfts

I would ditch the RFT's and get some decent tyres. If the RFT's have decent tread you could always sell them and put the cash towards tyres that aren't going to knock your back out. :thumbsup:
 
Single greatest thing you’ll ever do to a Zed is ditch the run flats. Buy the wheels if you like them, but buy them knowing you’re also buying new rubber.

Probably better off buying just wheels and then fitting the tyres I want
 
Or buy a set of 18s with tyres that are ready to be replaced.
 
When I switched from 17s to 18s I just found a set of the wheels I wanted which had low tread mixed tyres on that I would change.

(By the way, drove the car for a week on mixed budget brands with varying tread depths... It was proper sketchy!!)
