Change the seat belt guide ?

Hi guys,

I've got a sterling grau 3.0i with but the seat belt guides are black and not chrome line colour :-(

I'll go to Germany next WE so I 'll go to a BMW spare parts shop. Which parts do I need ?


I guess I just need number 3 and 4. Not sure if I have black or grey part number 3 though.

Is it hard to remove ? I don't think removing the outer part (4) is hard (screw number 7) but what about the other one ? Any experience on that ?

To remove cover you take head rest out and there is a torx screw on the rear side of the seat belt guide. Remove this and the cover will come off.

and what about the other part ?

I think you only need to replace the cover which is chrome, the other part is black

There are some different colour parts number 3, I don't know if it would look good if I would only replace the cover.

I would replace part 4 only. The other part will be colour coded to you car already.

I checked and mine are black, isn't it weird for a Sterling grey car ?
