Change springs ...

I have just bought some H&R springs from a forum member and although i have changed springs before on smaller cars im not sure im quite as confident on my beloved Zed :( can anyone point me in the right direction for a DIY. Dont want to do something stupid... :headbang: I know the rears are easy but the fronts may be more challenging. I have a 2006 3.0 Si. :driving:

Hello, glad you received them ok, :)

removing the front struts is easy, hardest part is removing the stock sport springs, some take the shocks to a garage and get them to swap the springs.

There is a how to the forum which I followed. I'll post it late as I'm not at the computer

Never used spring compressors to do mine. Is a write up on how to do it somewhere.!! It's really quick and easy!!!

didn't need the to remove the H&R spring but i defiantly needed them with the sport springs

used clark ones if i remember correctly, similar to the ones it the first link
 
Hi, Yes received today, cheers :D

I've taken a look and seems easy enough. Just struggling to remove the 18mm pinch bolt on the strut. Any ideas? I'm going to have to borrow a gun?
