Here's an amusing tale. During the week I discovered that I could not move the lever to adjust the rake of the drivers seat. On Saturday I started to look at the problem. It was definitely jammed. I thought about removing the seat, but that requires a large torx socket. I started to get worried. If I tapped the adjuster it made a slight rattle. I wondered if I could remove the adjuster arm. As I was examining it I noticed the edge of a pound coin in the mechanism. With a screwdriver and a pair of long-nosed pliers I managed to remove it. Then another, and another then a two pound coin. Then a fifty-pence piece and some ten-pence pieces, then some copper. I am now £7.54p better off and my adjuster works perfectly. In future I'll be careful where I keep my change.
