CF WING MIRRORS... PICS!

with a lot of chat on here about Carbon Fibre.. well, more than normal... thought id show the progress on my CF wing mirrors... laminated CF 2x2 weave, looks brilliant... just waiting for glass and motors to refit etc.

How much? How long with no mirrors to get them done?

*Edit, the last pic looks odd, like the mirror isn't aligned with the base. Do you agree? Is this camera trickery?

my car is off the road for the winter so im taking my time with the job, but its about a hour job to get the old ones off and new ones on... The cost for these CF covers is £250. Thats a lamination of the OEM covers so it fits.
The gap you see is because the cap isnt tightened up yet, only placed on... no camera trickery im afraid!
They are the OEM covers so not a new or copy part- - fits exactly as standard.

Not 'cheap' then, but not hideously expensive.

I meant if someone sent you their mirrors, how long would they have to wait to get them back?

These are being done in approx 2weeks. might be quicker as im changing supplier. Best bet is to buy the mirror caps off ebay etc, send me those, that way your car can still be used. I have 2 black ones in store at the moment from my Z4, so could possibly sell those.
