Guys, help please, I just bought a couple of CF badges for the side roundels, However they have now arrived and upon inspection they are concave on the inside and fitted with the locating pins, Now I maybe wrong but I thought they would have a flat bottom without pins as I am under the impression they glue onto the lens,
It looks I have just been sent 2 X 82mm boot badges, can anyone advise. :?

Also I am buying Aces clear side indicators to fit these to but am unsure how to remove the amber lens from the bulb housing anyone help with that?? :?

Appreciate any help or advice

Twist the indicator to the left whilst pushing it towards the car and you hold the whole thing in your hand (bayonet fitting). The replacement should be exactly that , a full replacement with bulb and all so just re-connect the wire and you are good to go.

CF - no idea.

I know how to remove the indicator from the car :poke: but one of the clear ones does not have a bulb holder hence the cheap price i am getting them for, was wondering if anyone knew how to detach the bulb holder from the lense

And again, that is not his question I think :D

I would have to look at my old set in the loft to see how you get the light fitting out ...

ok took some photos for good measure...

You could have cleaned it first :D

Bet there are quite a few house holds which have a set of those orange things in the loft

One of the mods that was actually cheap to buy from BMW without the roundals, less then £20 for a set.

For the carbon badges just cut the pins off and stick it down....

I also drilled a few holes for the stock pins on the side lens to slot into:

Er thanks Guys, I was actually asking how to remove the whole bulb Housing from the lense i.e The big white round plastic bit which is attached to the lens, Guess it's the way I worded it, As PVR has pointed out in a previous thread I posted gobbledegook. :D
However no matter think I've got it now anyway.

Aquazi
