Ceramic Maintenance

Had my second annual maintenance on my Ceramic finish which I had done from new. This car with the coating as been the easiest car to keep clean ever. Only cost £60 for the top up which I think is great value

After I wash the car, I use this to maintain the ceramic coat:

Interesting demo last week at Dunsfold at a detailing / PPF company. It actually made sense, they mentioned that owners want to see beading as proof of a good coat, whilst it is actually the worst. The pollen in the beading leaves a terrible mess on the car, whilst a ceramic car without the beading the water just runs off and there is no residue to remain on the car.

Had not thought about that before, but it did make sense that not applying the SiO2 stuff is actually better for the end result.

That’s dead right, when you put water on the car it does not bead just sort of runs off

Hi Folks. Just bought a 2011 E89 that I'm told has had a ceramic wax done professionally. No receipt and no idea of date (but assumiing last 6 months). Any advice on how best to maintain the finish? Totally new concept for me so any thoughts welocme. Ta.
