It actually made sense, they mentioned that owners want to see beading as proof of a good coat, whilst it is actually the worst. The pollen in the beading leaves a terrible mess on the car, whilst a ceramic car without the beading the water just runs off and there is no residue to remain on the car.
Had not thought about that before, but it did make sense that not applying the SiO2 stuff is actually better for the end result.
