Centre storage upgrades

Had a good look online but can't seem to find any upgrades for the centre storage. Surely there must be something!

I'll attach a picture just so you know what I am talking about, although i actually have the version with the phone holder.

The drop-down doesn't have a lot of space for anything, so what sort of thing were you expecting?

The space behind the door usually has the sat-nav and multi-CD unit, so the only space usually left is the little slot with the light, which I use for CDs, travel docs.

Wonder if it could be butchered to provide a ski-hatch?

Wife's doesn't have satnav or cd. My suggestion was trying to remove the shelf and fit the dog in there
Miniature wire-haired dachshund so should fit no problem.

That’s the beauty of the Coupe, my Ridgeback fits perfectly in the boot.
