Centre storage (between seats) lock?

Yes, that's definitely correct. That is what I was trying to say, though apparently not very well. :cry: Thanks for clarifying. :)
 
I've got a light, but no lock.

But I assume that's because it's a coupé (Sept '06 build) :P
 
interesting. you'd think the glovebox would lock.. that's the important one! can't fit anything in center console :(

My centre console locks (it has a light also) but my glove box does not.................... :roll: 03 3.0 se
 
Sorry about this, it's bit of a thread resurrection - does anyone know if there is any coding that controls the locking of the centre storage compartment with the central locking (whether it's by remote key, key in door or console button)? Mine used to lock/unlock with the remote central locking but it's currently 'permanently' locked ever since I changed the battery earlier in the year. I'd love to get my sunglasses back!

Before someone says it, I've had a look on the search for the coding list and couldn't see anything that controls the centre storage compartment...

mine did this, and I couldn't open it! So I prised the door down to pop it open and chopped the pins of, opens and closes just doesnt lock! No damage when prizing it open either lol

Mine Locks on an 04 pre-facelift car, but annoyingly, the glove box only locks manually on the key and I cant see any way of changing that .
..unless any one knows differently ?
 
I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but I had to remove my rear console recently and there are two electrical connections that you have to remove. there is one for the light and another one which I couldn't see what it was there for as it didn't seem to have any function, maybe this controls the locking process
 
mine locked on my roadster (facelift)
thought it was broken then I noticed the car was locked and when I unlocked the car I could open it again.

Glovebox locks only with the key.
