Centre Silencer Removal

I was talking to a local custom exhaust company about what I can do to get more sound on the zed but not too much!
He suggested removing the centre silencer. Has anyone done this? How does it sound?
Or what are people's opinions?

I'm assuming you are talking about the mid-pipe resonator/2nd cat converter.

I am actually currently working on getting this done to my car based on research I found on zpost forums. Basically, replace mid-pipe resonator with aftermarket, remove stock exhaust completely, and straight pipe to welded tips all the way back from the mid pipe.

Sound clips can be found in the above links.

I sourced my Magnaflow 12468 from Amazon and also purchased Double Walled Rolled & Angled Stainless Steel Tips from Amazon. I am in process of finding a shop to do this install for me.

I know a Garage just didn't know whether it would make much difference, Thanks! Depends where you are the one i know of is off the M4 Bath junction (infinity exhausts)
