Has anyone done a proper step by step guide on how to remove it? I can only find the foreign one which is no use at all really. I could do with photos
I'm wanting to remove it so I can vinyl wrap the aluminium to match my dash

Thankyou

Gavin

Good luck

That thread was really helpful but I couldn't get the rear part to move at all.
The two screws behind the cubby door I couldn't get too? How the hell do you manage it?!

Is it all fixed in different if you have the cd changer and Satnav?
Seriously annoyed, had to put it all back together

Sorry to hear that mate. I'm not sure what you mean but maybe you can explain it to the Indy I use over the phone or email him a pic of where you're stuck.
I can't think of what else to suggest .

He has my car there and I've seen he's removed the centre console without damage

On mine there were 2 small screws in the hinge, undo these and then the door pulls off - quite clever really - then you can get easy access to the 2 torx screws.'

Ahh you see I took them screws out but nothing seemed to happen once I did :(
So bloody frustrating that I think I was being stopped by just 2 screws. Taunting me!

Is there any other screws that need to be removed on the rear part?

Once those 2 small screws are removed the door should pull off. You need to apply some force though. Don't be gay about it.
