The door is NOS from BMW so never been fitted. To was able to remove existing door easily as the lug had snapped off on one side. The small plastic enclosures that go around the sprung lugs are there on the new door and I have the small screws ready from the original. The problem is the lugs have rotated on the new door such that there is no way to slide them into the brackets. I know when removing a door these can be fixed in place by a ‘key’ in the small hole at the side but BMW don’t provide them like that. I guess I’ll just have to risk man handling them into position with some narrow pliers. Fun!
