Centre Caps

Hi Guys,


Has anyone bought centre caps from Ebay or Amazon? There seems to be a hell of a price difference from 8 euro to 60 euro for a set.

Any suggestions on quality or are they all pretty much the same?

I think peoples views vary. Some think the cheap ones are OK but that was not my experience. The ones I ordered from eBay were poor quality and did not fit correctly. In the end I ordered genuine BMW centre caps which I’m very happy with. You get what you pay for!

Mines fine, they last about 2-3 years before needing replacing, yeah theres lots on ebay, most are same but prices vary so depends how quick you want them

The cheap ones are OK especially if your car is garaged and not sitting outside in all weathers. Go for the ones with 10 lugs on the back for better fitting

Bought a cheap set from ebay (think it was about £5) and has been on the car for 3 years, its starting to only just slightly bubble around the edges but so do oem ones anyway. Will replace it in a year or two when it gets worse as its still very presentable.

I need some, I'm not sure of the size but assume all the same. Those aren't genuine. For some reason, most of the copies have oem lookalike part number stickers on them. I guess it's to make them appear to be more genuine.

For what it's worth, I've had both oem and fake centre caps. The oem ones are better quality, but they all go the same way in the end. Slight bubbling around the edges.

Blimey, that's sneaky. For the untrained eye like me, you would assume they are Genuine BMW ones

To cheap to be genuine. Expect to pay around £36 for OEM. Mine came from an eBay BMW dealer.

I paid an extra £10 at the stealers (Sytners) and got the rotating centre caps.
Silly idea but they’re really eye catching.
Maybe not for everyone, especially as it’s an idea ripped off from Bentley, but I like ‘em
