Can anyone recommend the best place to get new centre caps for my Z4?
Thanks

There are prices on ebay ranging from about £5 to about £40. There are ones that claim to be 'genuine' throughout that price range. I think the original centre caps fitted to the E85/E86 era of Z4 had a two piece cap, where the outer ring can be prised off and the metal badge replaced. Later caps have a more rounded look and a chrome edge. Both types are interchangeable. The cheap ones will last for a few years, but will eventually corrode (just like genuine ones). Cheap ones my be a bit of a sloppy fit and rattle about a bit. Maybe treat them as a consumable part. If buying a full cap, they need to be the 68mm size (refers to the diameter of the hole in the centre of the wheel). If buying the emblem only, to fin inside the two-piece centre caps, you need the 64.5mm diameter (sometimes also advertised as 65mm).

Here's the ones I ordered recently...

These are to fit the two-piece centre caps.

These appear to be genuine complete caps...

Hope this helps

A good clue is also the reverse. Better quality ones appear to have more lugs on the reverse, similar to the second link above

I got cheap £10 ones off ebay back in July, they are knackered already, complete waste of money.
