Centre caps???

I use eBay ones. I buy ones with multiple clips on the back, not just five that the very nasty ones have.

This is what I did as well, and have had no problems with them at all. I held a genuine item up against the aftermarket version yesterday and honestly could not tell the difference, so either D4Dawg has supernatural levels of visual acuity, or he's been burnt by some very crappy examples (which if they fell off after a few days, may be the case)

Hahah I just can't stand copies buddy
That and my vision is 20/20 and annoyingly I fault find every day for work and you can spot the difference;)

I honestly don't see the point on buying a great car and being a cheapskate on.parts
Buy a piece of crap and do that haha

Your car always looks stunning OP, but we aren't all looking to win prizes at a concourse d'elegance - some of us have to work to a budget.

If I could get 90% of the product for 50% of the cost I'd be tempted!

If I had an ///M I might agree, but a 2.5Si doesn't qualify as a 'great' car no matter how much I might wish it were so. And saving money on something that is to all intents and purposes identical to the original is not being a cheapskate. (Please don't throw that back at me if I ever rant about fake watches...).
I think I'll start another thread with pics of my cheapskate centre caps alongside an OEM cap and see who can spot the difference.
Anyway, enough said as we're just going to have to agree to disagree and stop derailing this thread.

Not mocking buddy each to own of course and your car
Thing is with the condition of mine people don't notice that so much as try to find fault
So I avoid that from happening :)

I’ve had both types..genuine ones...from BMW.

Both types have lasted less than two years before they were looking grotty, with flaking/chipped decal and grubby/corroding chrome bits.

Bought a cheap set off eBay after my 2nd set of OE ones and they’re wearing in exactly the same manner at about the same rate.

I just consider them another consumable...along with pads/discs...and so buy equivalent/upgrade items where possible...but most of us are happy to put non-OE parts on the car when BMW decides to price-gouge us on Genuine parts.

...and it’s not like a badge is a safety-critical item.

Struggling to find a set for style 107s, with the raised lip around the circumference. Anyone have any links please?
