the light does notgo out on my centre storage cabinet, the plastic lever that switches it off at the botom has come off. Is this an expensive fix? would warenty cover it?
 
If your car is still under warranty I would expect they'll sort it for you, if not it should just be a new switch and a few mins to fit it.
 
cheers for the help, got it booked in next week to get the suspension looked at under warrenty so will try to get them to look at the light and all. Other than these little bug bares its a stunning car to own!!!!
 
The switch slides over a piece of metal. Is this what you mean?

yeah i think so, the pic is a bit blurred, the swithch on the door snapped off and im not sure if the metal has as well, i can see what looks like a button that puts the light out when pressed?
 
my mistake, just scrolled across on the pic, thanks for your help!!!!!!! the metal has snapped as has the part on the base of the door that pushes the metal down. Is the door easy to get off if BMW wont do it for me under warrenty? Any idea how much the parts would be?
 
2 tiny screws to get the door off, slide the piece of plastic out and the switch just slides off.

No idea about part costs, but to do it yourself is about 10 minutes I would say.
