Centre Air Vents

Shine a torch in and there are 2 recesses along the top, one in the middle on each vent. Put the tip of a small screwdriver in, but not too much. You just want to catch the end of the metal retaining clips. Then while the clips are pressed, use a trim remover tool on the same end to lever out gently.

Can be really frustrating, but just be patient and persevere

And instead of a trim tool, a coat hanger’s hook or a piece of electric wire bent to a loop works nicely to pull the vents out.

Probably the most frustrating thing I've had to do. Ended up ripping it put and buying another

Would say if there's anything you want to do back there, do it now before putting it back on (aux, bluetooth, heater controls, etc)

Yeah, I made a right pigs ear of it got it out but broken it,so order another one hopefully one dont need to get it out again for a while.

These vary in difficulty of being removed. My silver one used to come out easy but I now have black one that can be a bit of a pig.

There are 2 plastic tabs either end at the bottom which need levering up as well to remove it.
