Central Locking only unlocks, does not lock

Hi

Recently purchased an E86. The central locking is playing up.
- Key works to unlock the car
- Key will not lock the car
- Hatch unlock/open on the key will not work.

As it unlocks the car, the keys are paired to the car.

Used INPA to check the status of the doors to see if any are "open when closed" and thus preventing the central locking from working. Thinking that the central locking will not lock the car if a door is open.
- Doors status changes
- Hatch status changes
- Bonnet/hood status is closed and does not change to open when the bonnet/hood is open
- Rear glass status is open. The Z4 does not have a separate rear opening glass, so this has me confused.

Any tips on how to fault find this problem?

Do you have this problem anywhere ?
Actually i have the same problem when i'am parking my car on a specific location
I think that there is a radio frequency somewhere that jam the central locking system :)

Possibly a faulty relay in the GM5 Module that controls a lot of body functions, common when windows start playing up example here Item No 1 in the diagram https://www.realoem.com/bmw/en/showparts?id=DU52-EUR-06-2006-E86-BMW-Z4_30si&diagId=61_1625
it lives behind the glovebox. If it isn't that maybe the unlock button on the key has failed. Do you have two keys or just the one to check both?

Loads of used ones also on ebay but you need the same part number as yours, they are plug and play so no coding required.
