Central Locking Issue

Yesterday evening, I got in my passenger seat. While the door was open, I caught the lock button on my key in my pocket, and the driver's door locked. No problem, I just unlocked it with the centre console switch and went about my day.

However, today, my keys will not unlock the car from the button. Nothing at all. I've tried both keys to no avail. I swap them over every month to keep them charged, so know that they both work. I can unlock using the physical key, the console switch works, and the fuel cap unlocks as well, so I'm not suspecting the GM5 module.

It's a bit like I've confused it!

Any ideas?

I had a problem with my passenger door not unlocking and later also driver's door lock working intermittantly. I ordered 2 new relais and got them soldered by a tv repairer and it did the trick. The module is behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. A bit of a nightmare to remove and reinstall.

What is odd is that despite the fact it's not unlocking or locking from the key buttons, it has started locking as I drive away, which it has never done before. Bizarre behaviour!

The previous owner of mine had the locking, driving away thing coded in. Perhaps locking the car with the doors open upset the poor thing and it had a paddy for a while. :)
