Central Locking - Dash Button

I've read through all the post I could find on this issue but have not found my specific problem. Had an issue with the passenger door lock. Key fob would lock it but it wouldn't unlock it. Replaced the lock actuator and all key fob functions work great. However the dash central locking button by the hazard switch does nothing! Sitting in the car, door shut, engine running: hit the button and nothing, no noises, just nothing.

I've owned this since 2007 and making the hard decision to let a new owner take over. Other than this issue it's in near perfect condition. Want this fixed before putting it up.

Any pointers/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Step one. Try another switch.
Step two. Suspect the GM5 module.
Step three. Check any codes.
Step four. Do step three first.

Update to original post: Had the system scanned and the following codes were returned from the ZKE module:
24: GM: Relay for Central Locking, Locking
42: GM: Burglar-AI. System: Pass.-Compart Sensor
I also replaced the hazard/lock switch in the center console with no changes. All other functions of the GM5 work (key fobs, lighting, windows, wipers, etc...)
I assume I need to repair/replace the GM5 module.
Again, any input is appreciated!

Replace or send GM5 Module off for repair, easy to change its plug and play, must be the same type of module so you need to take yours out to check what model it is, there are a few models that were fitted to the cars.
Its easy to get at behind the glovebox.
Repair service here in Harrogate, he offers a good fast turnaround, know members who have used his service in the past.

If using a replacement it may need some coding for comfort access options if it hasn't got those options coded in like your original.
