Center Console - Aluminum Piece

Anyone know where I can get a new part? As the title says, aluminum piece that is on the center console, the one that goes around the shift knob and around the "sport" button and around the heated seat buttons

I know i can get it from the dealership, but they want an insane amount of money for it!! Anyone know where I can buy one cheaper than the dealership?

They occasionally pop up on eBay, then the price is better (though still high). aside from that, the few dealerships that offer 20% for internet purchases may be your best bet.

thx, i found a couple of shops online who sell the OEM parts for waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than up here in Canada (mainly because our dollar is so strong right now)

Would you mind posting what you found? I'm in need of the same thing. It seems to run about $370 us. Have you found it for less?
 
i found it as cheap as $330 i think ... i was just browsing on the net to find that ... if i find the website again i'll post it ... but not sure if that is shipped or not, while yours at $370 is shipped??

I have an extra one along with the piece that goes over the headlight controls and the dash. I was going to replace my scratched one but then realized what is involved to install them and I am too lazy.
make me an offer they are in perfect condition.

What year do you have? If its the aluminum trim that goes around the shifter and ashtray down to where the e brake goes in (must have sports package) im in
 
Here are a couple pictures of the piece. You can see on the underside that it has a template to cut out for the sport option. If anyone is interested email an offer to [email protected] and I will sell it to the highest amount as long as I get the minimum I am looking for. The piece is in new condition.

It looks like it only has one hole? That would be for the airbag light correct? I see the option for the sport button, but it doesn't seen to be cut out. What year is it for?

Edit- I guess I should read better. Can that be cut out?
 
I just recieved the piece. I have no idea how the sport switch is going to be cut out. It's solid aluminum not just a veneer like I thought. Any ideas short of going to a machine shop.
 
Does anyone know what the sport button looks like from the underside? I'm getting this trim cut out on a CNC, but they said the hole that is already cut out (see photos on the first page) is larger by an 1/8th inch than the template on the under side. Do both buttons look the same (airbag warning and sport button). Do you think the template is wrong?
